Duration:

Description:

The objective of the present behavioral study is to understand the time course of the audiovisual integration of speech. To do this, we use a gating task (progressive unveiling):

During the experiment, several sequences containing a consonant will be presented. The task is to identify the consonants in three different conditions: Audio-only (in which you can rely only on what you hear), audiovisual (where you can rely on the audio information and on the articulatory gestures of the speaker at the same time) and finally, a visual-only condition.
